Union Square Hospitality Group will open its first two Boston restaurants at Commonwealth Pier in 2025
We are thrilled that Devra First, the Boston Globe’s authority on all matters culinary, has shared our exciting news: Union Square Hospitality Group will open its first two Boston restaurants at Commonwealth Pier in 2025. For close to forty years, Danny Meyer has had his finger on the pulse of the NYC dining scene—think Union Square Café and and Gramercy Tavern—and we can’t wait to see what he plans to deliver to Boston.
Kristan McLaughlin, Pembroke’s Director of Asset Management, Boston, said, “We want an operator with an excellent track record of hospitality to create environments and spaces that are inclusive and approachable, and that’s what Union Square is bringing. One is casual and another is a little more elevated, but within the elevated concept are opportunities for everyone to dine and enjoy.”
USHG says the Seaport is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the country, and they are being thoughtful about creating two dining destinations that complement the thriving community.
