Life Time Is Coming to Commonwealth Pier in 2027

We are excited to welcome Life Time to Commonwealth Pier, bringing a new athletic club and social wellness destination to Boston’s waterfront in late 2027. Spanning approximately 45,000 square feet and overlooking Boston Harbor, the club will create a new place to move, recharge and connect in the heart of the Seaport.

As Life Time’s first waterfront location, the club will sit directly over Boston Harbor, with panoramic views, 40-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows creating one of the city’s most unique fitness settings. Plans include boutique studios with Life Time group fitness classes, personal training, recovery amenities, a coed wet suite with a sauna and warm and cold thermal experiences, a LifeCafe and a bar.

We are just as excited about how Life Time can connect with the community beyond the club itself. Plans include free public fitness programming and broader community partnerships, creating more opportunities for people to participate in wellness activities at the waterfront. Pembroke, Life Time and other Commonwealth Pier partners, including the Museum of American Finance, also look forward to exploring programming with Boston Public Schools that supports student enrichment across mind and body.

Life Time will add even more energy to a destination that is continuing to come to life. Alongside restaurants, retail, public art and cultural experiences, it will offer another reason to visit Commonwealth Pier, explore the revitalized Harborwalk and waterfront plaza, and spend time together along Boston Harbor.
